OPTIGÉP Machine Manufacturing and Trading Ltd. was formed in 1993, and is owned 100% by a group of natural individuals. Our scope of business is agricultural machine development, production and sale. The company has more than 140 employees. They have more years of experience in manufacturing and developing of our products. Primarily we develop and manufacture machines for sunflower and corn harvesting.
Our main product is the OptiSun sunflower header. Mainly due to the quality of our matured products we fully rule the Hungarian market with this product, on the other hand we emphasize more on the good and fast service as well as the reliable part supply.
We registered several patents during the development of our products. When developing the row crop headers to harvest sunflower we used the research and plough-land measuring experience of FVMMI GM Kht. (MGI-Gödöllő). We developed jointly the version with chopper that is a unique construction solution among the sunflower headers. The patented construction and vibrating catch pan of our sunflower headers makes possible having the header at a very low position. This way the loss of the sunflower harvest can be considerably reduced. Based on our experiences (and in comparison with other technologies) by saving the loss the price of a 6 row sunflower header will be returned after harvesting 250-300 hectares. This is true even more if there are bad harvesting conditions (plants leaning or infected by fungus).
Harvesting mechanism of our PSM type sunflower header is identical to OptiSun headers, meaning that it features all their beneficial properties. The low-built chopper offers further benefits for users. It performs the chopping of the stalk in one run with harvesting, and enables immediate tillage after the harvesting.
